Recently, I was asked to fly to Chicago to speak about Pinterest at the Internet Retailer Conference. It’s a massive annual gathering of the top Internet retailers, as well as vendors and retail e-commerce experts. If you’ve ever been to the McCormick Center in Chicago, you know it’s a massive place—and this event filled it. My job was to discuss the latest changes in the Pinterest platform. The room we were in was just a secondary venue, but it still sat probably 2,000 people. As I always do, I had prepared to start with a brief overview of our business.
