That's right, folks. We're here to cause you sleepless nights. We're here to teach you to worry: Worry about someone coming after you for copyright infringement, worry that you're going to libel someone, and worry that every creepo, skeevo, and nasty character straight out of a Stephen King book is going to find you through the Tube.
Well, maybe not quite that bad.
This chapter is not about doom and gloom, and it's not here to scare you nor make you think twice about surfing around and sharing videos on YouTube. Essentially, this chapter is about YouTube's community guidelines. It's about showing you the rules, how others might break those rules, and what you can do to avoid any unpleasant situations on the Tube.
So, no — we're not here to scare you. Instead, we're hoping that you'll find this chapter valuable because it shines a light on the areas of YouTube that can be misused by not-so-friendly Tubers. We're here to accentuate the positive to help you eliminate any negative YouTube experiences.
