O’Reilly Wins Gold for “Best Advance for Leading Under a Crisis” by Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Future of Work Awards

O’Reilly Recognized for Reshaping How Workers Learn in Remote Environments in 2021 Human Capital Management Excellence Awards

BOSTON—September 1, 2021O’Reilly, the premier source for insight-driven learning on technology and business, today announced that it was awarded gold in the coveted Brandon Hall Group Human Capital Management (HCM) Excellence Awards for the “Best Advance for Leading Under a Crisis” category. The company was recognized for empowering tech-based workers to learn innovative technologies using its leading live and online learning experiences through the O’Reilly learning platform.

The global COVID-19 pandemic forced many professionals to turn to online courses to learn new skills needed to land a job or move up the corporate ladder. However, in the rush to remote learning, many virtual formats lacked the benefits of in-person, hands-on learning. During the pandemic, O’Reilly’s primary goal was to arm its customers with the resources and tools to upskill and reskill within the confines of their own homes.

In 2020 alone, more than one million people registered for its live online training courses. Additionally, pivoting O’Reilly’s conferences from in-person to virtual events helped an even wider audience take advantage of expert talk tracks and content the company has to offer.
