Sort and Filter are essential commands for cleaning datasets and extracting the desired rows in the desired order. This chapter covers these two important tasks. But before diving into the main problems, you should be familiar with the basics of these two functions.

In Power Query, sorting and filtering rows is straightforward. Consider the Source table shown in Table 3-1.
