Danach sehen wir uns die in Microsoft SQL Server möglichen Datentypen an und beschäftigen uns mit der Frage, wie Sie für die einzelnen Spalten jeweils den geeigneten Datentyp auswählen. Außerdem werden in diesem Kapitel die eingebauten skalaren Funktionen, der Ausdruck CASE und Varianten davon wie ISNULL und COALESCE behandelt.
