OneNote: Future Plans
This is the first version of Microsoft OneNote that's been released. OneNote is a unique type of program. Before the release of OneNote and the Windows Journal application for the Tablet PC, there really were not any good Microsoft options for note-taking programs. Note takers were limited to Microsoft Word, WordPad, NotePad, or a Pocket PC device with a variety of programs (such as Pocket Word or Notes). There were a handful of other third-party note-taking applications on the market, but none that utilized the Tablet PC's inking capabilities as well as OneNote.
