It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
PART 2Crafting an Aligned Portfolio
The second part of Activate Your Money contains the core of the book. In it, we will walk you through each asset class in which you might want to invest—from cash to stocks to real estate and beyond. Each chapter focuses on a single asset class, explaining how it works and providing you with key knowledge that you can use to make more informed investment decisions. You'll be introduced to tools and values-aligned investments that you can access today, regardless of the amount you want to invest.
Feel free to read through and apply the information in this section in any sequence that works best for you. Some readers may only be interested in diving into two or three asset classes—such as cash, fixed income, and public equities. Others may want to jump into private investing or alternatives. The chapters were written to maintain a stand-alone quality, allowing you to access them in the sequence that works best for you.
There is a lot of information in Part 2. If you start to feel overwhelmed at any time, simply put the book aside for a bit and come back to it. Nothing says that you have to absorb everything at once. Smart, successful investing and wealth creation is more like a marathon than a sprint. We are here to support your journey, but please be kind with yourself and proceed at your own pace. Activate Your Money and the companion website are a set of resources that are available for you whenever you choose to access them.
