So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER 2 
Getting Photos into Lightroom
Before you can do anything with Lightroom you have to get the photos into your computer. Lightroom can bring photos in from cameras (card readers or direct connection) or it can import images that are already on the computer.
TIP
Regardless of how you import your images, taking some extra time to ensure that your import is set up correctly before you begin will save you a lot of time later.
