About the Authors

Eric Broda is a technology executive, practitioner, and entrepreneur. He has been a technology executive at large banks and insurers and most recently is the founder of a boutique consulting firm that helps global enterprises realize value from GenAI and data. Eric is the coauthor of Implementing Data Mesh (O’Reilly) and is a leader in the data mesh community; he has published over 20 articles related to GenAI, data mesh, data products, and data ecosystems. Eric has led GenAI, data mesh, and API engagements for global insurers, payment providers, and banks to help accelerate their GenAI and data mesh journey. He is also a passionate climate advocate and volunteers as a technology architect at OS-Climate, a nonprofit enterprise sponsored by leading global banks, insurers, asset managers, and technology firms, with a mission to make climate data easier to find, consume, share, and trust. In his spare time, Eric plays guitar and board games and enjoys traveling with his family.

Davis Broda is a senior software architect, technology team lead, and software engineer at large banks and technology firms. He has developed GenAI, security, and application solutions for large retailers and technology firms, and has experience with multiple AI toolkits, including CrewAI, LangGraph, Pydantic AI, and OpenAI Swarm.
