Module 3 – Transaction Reconciliation and Financial Control
Module 3 is the first module built entirely on in-workbook data. The starting workbook is a full month-end financial control toolkit for EXL Cloud Training Pty Ltd – opening and closing balance sheet, two months of actual transaction data, profit, and loss history. The exercise is one every accountant in close knows by heart: substantiate the balance sheet movement against underlying transactions, and assess the robustness of the financial process by looking at the ratio of manual journals to system-generated transactions.
