I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
It is worth piping the output through either more or pg if there are many errors
logged.
Of all the fields displayed, the most useful in identifying the nature and cause of
the error are:
ERROR LABEL: This is a label used to identify the error. An example of
a physical volume error is
DISK_ERR4.
Error Class: This describes if the error is caused by a hardware or
software problem denoted by
(H) or (S) respectively.
Error Type: This describes if the error is permanent
(PERM) or
temporary
(TEMP).
Description: This will be a short description of the error.
Probable Causes: If included, this field will identify the likely cause of the
error which can be a software ...
