DataGrid displays the data in a grid-oriented layout. The data is represented in the form of a layout with multiple cells aligned in a regular pattern. It requires a collection of items as an array for the value attribute and the ng-template template tag to display its content where each item can be accessed using a local template variable. The template content needs to be wrapped within a div element such that the data is formatted in a grid layout using any grid CSS styles.
