It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Advanced features - going beyond basic usage
The Slider component can be further customized in a similar way to the Spinner with input boundaries, using min and max attributes or the range attribute to mention both the boundaries at the same time, customized step factors (by default step factor is 1) using the step attribute, and the animate property to provide animations on the click of a Slider.
The default orientation of the Slider input is horizontal. The direction or orientation of the Slider can be changed to vertical using the orientation property.
