It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In the “Background” part, we discuss architecture and processes in general terms. There is a lot of emphasis on Domain Models and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) [Evans DDD]. We also introduce patterns and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
