Le réglage des performances consiste à optimiser les performances de ton cluster Presto en effectuant de petits ajustements pour améliorer sa vitesse, son efficacité et ses performances globales. Ce processus commence par l'analyse du système existant pour déterminer où et comment l'améliorer. Une fois que nous avons identifié les domaines à améliorer, nous pouvons mettre en œuvre des changements pour maximiser les performances.
Ce chapitre est organisé en cinq parties. Dans la première partie, nous présenterons quelques concepts de base liés à l'optimisation des performances, notamment la motivation et le cycle de vie de l'optimisation des performances. Dans la deuxième partie, nous verrons le modèle d'exécution des requêtes de Presto, qui t'aide à comprendre où agir lorsqu'il y a des goulots d'étranglement. Ensuite, nous analyserons certaines approches populaires pour l'optimisation des performances dans Presto, notamment l'allocation des ressources, le stockage et l'optimisation des requêtes. Dans la quatrième partie, nous nous concentrerons sur Aria Scan, un projet visant à améliorer les performances de Presto en augmentant l'efficacité du balayage des tables. Enfin, nous mettrons en œuvre un cas d'utilisation pratique pour montrer comment accorder certains paramètres de configuration dans Presto.
