I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Arduino-Boards nutzen Bibliotheken in Form von Software. Diese Softwarebibliotheken, englisch »Library« oder »Libraries« (Mehrzahl), sind in sich geschlossene Programme, die meist eine Reihe von Funktionen mitbringen. Sie erweitern die Funktionalität des Arduino und sind speziell für einen Anwendungsfall erstellt. Der Vorteil dieser Bibliotheken ist, dass der Anwender auf vorgefertigte Funktionen zurückgreifen kann und diese nicht selbst ausprogrammieren muss. Bei einer Bibliothek für ein serielles GPS-Modul beispielsweise kann man Daten wie Längen- und Breitengrad direkt abfragen und muss den über die serielle Schnittstelle eingelesenen String nicht selbst auseinandernehmen.
