When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Although he has been living in Southern California since he was 3 years old, Michael was actually born on a military base in Stuttgart, Germany. He was raised in a family of teachers and has always had a great passion for instruction and lifelong learning.
Michael holds a master’s degree in Design with an emphasis in illustration from California State University, Fullerton, and received bachelor’s degrees in both Fine Art and History from Whittier College. Over the years, Michael has remained an active contributor to his undergraduate community by adjunct teaching (with a brief stint as a visiting professor) and designing over 40 posters for the Department of Theatre & Communication Arts, earning a Meritorious Achievement Award ...
