Abstract
A fundamental change in machine intelligence involves achieving cognitive abilities comparable to those of humans across various fields. Artificial general intelligence (AGI) relies on groundbreaking advancements in evolutionary algorithms, brain–computer interfaces (BCIs), and quantum computing. The convergence of evolutionary algorithms, BCIs, and quantum computing is speeding up the progress of AGI. In this chapter, we have discussed how BCIs and quantum computing work together and also discussed their issues and problems. This chapter also discussed the evolutionary way for the development of AGI by utilizing BCIs and quantum computing. How to ensure that the AGI systems are implemented to guarantee that its objectives and human values are met and what implications will AGI have on human identification, privacy, and employment are discussed in this work. Also discussed are important problems and possible solution on how to deal by applying BCI and quantum computing and how evolutionary approaches are ...
