About the Author
Doug Lowe has written a bevy of computer books, including more than 35 For Dummies books. Among his most recent are ASP.NET Everyday Applications For Dummies, Java All-In-One Desk Reference For Dummies, Networking For Dummies, 7th Edition, Networking For Dummies All-In-One Desk Reference, Second Edition, PowerPoint 2003 For Dummies, and Word 2003 All-In-One Desk Reference For Dummies. He lives in sunny Fresno, California, where the weather is always bad for half of the farmers, with his wife, the youngest of three daughters, and a couple of crazy dogs. He is the Information Technology Director for Blair, Church & Flynn Consulting Engineers, an engineering firm in nearby Clovis, CA.
Jeff Cogswell is a software engineer and trainer living in the Cincinnati area. He has written several books, including two previous Dummies books, one on C++ and one on LAMP.
