I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Technical requirements
We'll use the following tools in this chapter:
- Visual Studio 2019: This can be downloaded and installed from https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/. Make sure that the following features are selected in the installer:
- ASP.NET and web development
- Azure development
- Node.js development
- .NET Core 3.0: This can be downloaded and installed from https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core.
- Node.js and npm: These can be downloaded from https://nodejs.org/.
