C Block Diagram Techniques
C.1 Detail and Clarity
Block diagrams are a powerful tool for describing audio processes. The intention is to express the flow of control and audio signal data through process blocks such that it is easy to translate into an implementation (such as a computer program).
One difficulty in creating and using block diagrams is in choosing an appropriate amount of visual detail. For example:
