I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Unter dem Thema Simulation gibt es mehrere Berechnungsfunktionen, die Ihre Konstruktion schon vor der Realisierung theoretisch durchrechnen und testen können. Die zugrunde liegende Methode nennt sich kurz FEM (Finite Elemente Methode). Das Prinzip besteht darin, dass ein Volumenkörper durch ein engmaschiges Netz von kleinen Einzelkörpern ersetzt wird, deren gegenseitige Kräfte durch ein Netz von Federn repräsentiert werden. Aus dem kontinuierlichen Medium des Körpers wird dadurch ein diskretes Netz von Einzelkörpern und entsprechenden Kräften. Ein solches diskretes System kann dann mit einem Computer behandelt werden.
