I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
- Navigate to the build view in the parts unlimited team portal and edit the previously created modern.webapp build definition.
- Click + Add to add the newly installed Assembly Info task into the modern.webapp build pipeline:
- In the Options tab, it is recommended that you configure the build number to a digit.digit.digit.digit assembly number format. However, if you have a different naming convention for the build number, then you can still version the binaries by using a semantic assembly version that you can control directly in the build pipeline:
Leave the default configuration for the source files to AssembyInfo.cs
