Up until this point, most of the emphasis has been placed on software tools that are tailored toward beginners. Tinkercad, 123D Design, 123D Catch, and Sculptris are great tools for first-time users, who may have little to no previous CAD or 3D-modeling experience. The motivation for software companies to release free and easy tools such as these is to help develop a user base while providing new users the confidence and skill to build a range of 3D models, from simple to complex.
