When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Author
Joe Burns, Ph.D., grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and still believes that someday the Indians will win the Series. Joe has made his living as a morning disc jockey, guitar instructor, Web designer, and finally as a university professor after receiving his Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Burns ran HTML Goodies (http://www.htmlgoodies.com) for almost eight years before walking away at the end of 2001. The site is still posted, but Joe has moved on to concentrate his efforts on teaching and writing. He currently lives in Hammond, Louisiana, with his wife Tammy and cats Chloe and Mardi. Weekdays are spent teaching undergraduate and graduate Communications and Web design classes at Southeastern Louisiana University. ...
