SAS Viya the newest part of the SAS platform
SAS Viya is the newest part of the platform and is based on microservices. As mentioned previously in this chapter the core of this SAS Viya architecture is the CAS. SAS developers have not only rewritten procedures to take advantage of this new architecture but also continued to develop new and improved procedures.
