tablet: See data tablet.

tabs: (1) In computing, tabulation points which allow text on a printer or display to be set in vertical columns. (2) Markers, often metal clips, attached to the edge of motion picture film to identify or cue a position. (3) Openable curtains on a stage. (The US term is drapes.)

tachometer: A transducer which converts speed of rotation into a scale reading or an electrical signal related to speed.

tail: The final section of a roll of film or tape.

take: (1) A scene or part of a scene photographed without a break in the action. See also shot. (2) See cut (3). (3) A vision mixer control panel operation that puts a preset source to air.
