So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preface
The book that you are holding fulfils a primary need of the authors: finding an appropriate textbook for our courses on digital transformation using blockchain. While there are excellent books focusing on the technical implementation aspects of specific blockchains, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, or looking at blockchain from a software engineering or financial engineering perspective, we have struggled to find a book taking a ‘design science’ standpoint on blockchain: providing sufficient explanation of the technical details in order to understand how blockchain can be used to address specific business needs in the real world. This is exactly the objective of this book.
