Choosing a nursing home for a parent or grandparent is a difficult and emotional experience. However, it is a very important task and should be done with much preparation and thought.

It is as true now as it was then when Mr. Ed told us in his theme song “Go right to the source and ask the horse.” Unfortunately, Mr. Ed—that is, Bamboo Harvester, the horse who played him—died in 1970 at the age of 19.
