Part III. Introducing the Example Data Integration Solution
In Part III, we finally get our hands dirty and build a data integration solution from the ground up. Chapter 9 describes our starting point, including givens, assumptions, and objectives of the example integration solution. You’ll examine the actual solution architecture toward the end of Chapter 9, followed by the hands-on implementation of a batch integration in Chapter 10, and a streaming integration in Chapter 11.
Tip
The major CSPs have serverless equivalents of many of the procedures we will cover in this part. However, starting with bare-bones Amazon EC2 Instances will mimic an environment that can be replicated independent of any particular CSP, and the Qlik part of the solution should be able to be duplicated on-prem, given similar hardware and operating systems.
