Azure Redis Cache

Azure Redis Cache is built on top of an open source store called Redis (https://github.com/antirez/redis), which is an in-memory database and persists on disk. As per Microsoft's description (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/services/cache/):

"Azure Redis Cache is based on the popular open source Redis cache. It gives you access to a secure, dedicated Redis cache, managed by Microsoft and accessible from any application within Azure."
