I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Appendix B Getting Help with the .NET Framework
The .NET Framework Class Library has grown steadily since .NET 1.0 release to manufacturing (RTM) in 2002. Currently, the .NET Framework 3.5 Class Library contains more than 11,400 object types. This is huge and more than most people can memorize in a practical way.
The reason I’m telling you this is because I’ve seen countless people who feel inadequate for not knowing everything there is to know about .NET. There used to be a time when a developer could pick up a language or platform and know everything about it in detail. With the pace of technology and the volume of what is available, that isn’t possible, for the normal human being, anymore.
