Unfortunately, the written code doesn't always work as expected. In such a case, it is a good idea to start debugging to see how the program operates, find the source of the problem, and correct it. This task is especially useful for complex algorithms, where the flow could be complicated, and therefore quite difficult to analyze just by reading the code.
