About the Authors
Jasmin Blanchette
Jasmin graduated with a degree in computer science in 2001 from the University of Sherbrooke, Quebec. He did a work term at Trolltech in the summer of 2000 as a software engineer and has been working there continuously since early 2001. In 2003, Jasmin cowrote C++ GUI Programming with Qt 3, and in 2005 he cowrote C++ GUI Programming with Qt 4. He is the driving force behind Qt 4’s container classes and layout system. Jasmin now divides his time between working as one of Trolltech’s senior software engineers and completing an M.Sc. thesis in computer science at the University of Oslo.
