I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Das eigentlich sehr positive Streben nach Energieeffizienz ist für die Fotografie ein kleines optisches Desaster. Die warmen und freundlichen Glühlampen, die eine uralte Tradition verfolgten, nämlich Licht durch Feuer zu erzeugen, wurden durch Energiesparlampen, sogenannte Kompaktleuchtstofflampen (oder KLL) abgelöst, die Qualität der Raumbeleuchtung hat deutlich darunter gelitten. Mit Qualität meine ich hier ein Licht, das angenehm aussieht, was nicht zu viel verlangt ist, wie ich finde. KLLs erzeugen jedoch ein Licht, das man bestenfalls als weiß bezeichnen kann – sehr hart, und völlig daneben, wenn es darum geht, menschliche Haut anzuleuchten (es sei denn, dieser Zombie-Look gefällt ...
