It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

を使っているなら、
ssh-agent
を自分で起動し、環境変数を正しく設定しなければなりま
せん。直接
ssh-agent
を起動すると、設定しなければならない環境変数を出力してくれます。例を
