It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Ansible
の公式のドキュメントでは、ハンドラの唯一の一般的な利用方法は、サービスの再起動
と、リブートだけだとされています。筆者個人としては、サービスの再起動のためにハンドラを
使ったことはありません。そうしたとしても、それはちょっとした最適化に過ぎません。これは、
サービスに変更の通知をするのではなく、
playbook
の最後に無条件でサービスを再起動させてし
まえるからです。しかも、通常はサービスの再起動にはそれほど時間もかかりません。
筆者が体験したハンドラに関するもう

つの落とし穴は、
playbook
のデバッグの際に問題にな
り得ることです。次のような場合がそうです。
1. playbook
を実行する。

タスクのうちの
1
つが状態の変更に応じて通知を送る。
3.
それ以降のタスクでエラーが生じ、
Ansible
が停止する。
4. playbook
のエラーを修正する。
5. Ansible
を実行しなおす。

回目の実行では状態の変更を報告するタスクがないので、
Ansible
はハンドラを実行し
ない。

Playbook
の実行
先ほどと同様に、
ansible-playbook
コマンドを使って
playbook
を実行しましょう。
$ ansible-playbook web-tls.yml
出力は、以下のようになるでしょう。
