The chapter starts with an overview of the cloud ecosystem followed by an in-depth discussion of cloud delivery models and services and then the discussion of cloud computing at Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. Next, the chapter covers the pervasive issue of vendor lock-in and the prospects of cloud interoperability. The presentation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) is followed by a discussion of the responsibility sharing between cloud users and cloud service providers.
