Creating a virtual machine in Azure

Follow the steps listed next to create a VM in Microsoft Azure:

1. Go to the Azure dashboard, and select New in the left panel to launch the VM Wizard, as shown in the following screenshot:

2. Now we need to select the OS that needs to be launched. We will select the Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS server option (we select this option, since our application is developed on the Ubuntu OS) in the list.
