Botnet response is in its early stages. However, a few technical volunteer

groups do accept reports of botnets for research and action to shut down hot

servers.

For instance, Shadowserver (wwsv.shadowserver.org/) is an all-volunteer

group that gathers, tracks, and reports on botnets and malware. Shadowserver
