Penetration Testing

Last year I walked into a restaurant in Rochester, New York, with a business partner; I was wearing an EC-Council official polo shirt. The back of the shirt was embroidered with the words “Licensed Penetration Tester.” On reading those words on my shirt, a group of young executives seated behind me started an intense dialogue among themselves.

They were obviously not amused at my “behavior,” since that was a restaurant for decent people! On my way out, I walked up to them and asked if they were amazed at what that statement meant.
