16. Sending and Receiving Email

Email is a modern way to communicate with friends, family, and colleagues. An email message is like a regular letter, except that it’s composed electronically and delivered almost immediately via the Internet.

You can use a dedicated email program, such as Microsoft Outlook or Windows 8.1’s Mail app, to send and receive email from your personal computer.
