Linking Processes

Processes in Elixir can be linked together, and Task processes are usually automatically linked to the process that started them. This link is simply called a process link. Process links have an important role when building concurrent and fault-tolerant applications. They help us immediately shut down parts of the system, or even the whole system when needed, preventing the application from running with a bad state.
