It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adding Flow to a GenStage Pipeline
We are going revisit the scraper project which we worked on in Chapter 3, Data-Processing Pipelines with GenStage. To refresh your memory, the final data-processing pipeline we had for scraper had four components:
- One PageProducer process of type :producer
- Two OnlinePageConsumerProducer processes of type :producer_consumer
- One PageConsumerSupervisor process of type :consumer
- Up to two PageConsumer processes started on demand by PageConsumerSupervisor
