So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Running the docker stack command
Let's use the docker stack command to run the services, which in turn will start containers on the cluster:
$ docker stack deploy --compose-file docker-compose.yml appCreating network app_defaultCreating service app_redisCreating service app_calculator
Docker plans to simplify the syntax so that the stack word would not be needed, for example, docker deploy --compose-file docker-compose.yml app. At the time of writing, it's only available in the experimental version.
