6.1. Creating a Programmatic Skin
In this exercise, you’ll create a skin similar to those you created in the exercises from Chapter 5, shown in Figure 6.1-1. However, rather than using a tool such as Photoshop or Flash to create the graphical assets, you’ll draw them similar to those you created in Exercises 5.1–5.4. When you complete this exercise, you’ll have created a single ActionScript class that will generate the visuals for the up, down, over, and disabled states of a button.
