File Output Workflow

After we’ve organized our images in the Library Module, and after we’ve developed them in the Develop Module, we are done with the input phase of our workflow. We’re done applying organizational and developmental metadata to our images, and we can finally focus our attention on output. It’s important to complete work in the Input Modules before output because it ensures that each version of our work that we create is fundamentally the same. It ensures that each version—whether created for social media, for Web galleries, for emails, for submissions to clients, or for printing—is not different from the original in terms of the organization of its developmental information.
