So far you have seen several different approaches to cryptography. In this chapter, we discuss the “visual side” of cryptography, in which a message is encrypted under an image and deciphering is done by the human eye.

Visual cryptography is a cryptographic technique in which the encrypted message can be decrypted only by being seen “with the sight.” With visual cryptography, various inputs can be encrypted, namely text, images, documents, etc.
