In 2011, Cybersecurity Watch Survey 1 revealed that 60 percent of cyber-attacks come from outside entities. Sad to say, according to an IBM report,2 55 percent of all attacks in 2014 were carried out by malicious insiders or were inadvertent mistakes. A malicious insider with access to a hospital network has the potential to do the most physical damage to medical equipment and hospital facilities.
