The demo that we just worked through has shown us the merge, merge.select, and generate_with_relative_time factory methods of Observable, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.

There are so many observable factories (a sample of which is shown in the following image) that it would take more time than we have, just to get a short description of each one:

Each of them gives us a useful way of constructing an observable, usually, but not always, based on one or more other observables.
